THE CORE
The La Veta Apple Project was started to identify and preserve the area's rich apple heritage.
We are apple enthusiasts of the La Veta area who have the mission of identifying and preserving old apple trees around here. Through our interest and work, we hope to expand the community's appreciation of our apple heritage. This is an on-going long-term project. By involving youth groups, such as 4H, we hope to spread the awareness to a younger generation that can carry on our work with apple trees.
